A distinctive city by any standards, handsome Hull surprises everyone with its scale, its ambience, its history and its many attractions. We know the awe inspiring Humber Bridge, maritime heritage, historic buildings and traditions, along with the Old and New town will provide you with a superior quality of life; whether you seek the beauty and tranquillity of a seaside resort or the excitement of a bustling city, Yorkshire  caters for a host of tastes. The surrounding area is a combination of market towns and villages scattered through pollution-free countryside, long, sandy beaches and cathedral-like cliffs characterise the coastline and its popular holiday resorts.

The city of Hull is an active centre for commerce. A three hour train journey from London, and an easy drive to the major cities of Leeds, Sheffield or Manchester.

Hull has a fascinating history spanning over 700 years it is an interesting combination of old and new, with its cobbled streets, lanes and historic pubs, to pedestrianised streets with superb shopping centres. Entrance to Hull’s Museums and the Ferens Art Gallery is free and there is a varied choice of theatres with electric programmes and concerts. Sports facilities include three tenpin bowling centres, an Olympic-standard ice arena and a David Lloyd Racket & Fitness Centre. There are four cinemas and The City Hall acts as a venue for a wide variety of music from classical to jazz and pop. The sea shanty festival, ale trail and Hull Fair are a few of the numerous events held in Hull yearly.

'The Deep'

The Deep is another major attraction of Hull being Europe's deepest aquarium containing 2.5 million litres of water and 87 tonnes of salt. Discover the story of the world's oceans from tropical coral lagoons to the icy wastes of Antartica with all the marine life it contains.
