We operate from modern premises in a pleasant part of suburban West Hull. The practice serves a population of 11,000 in this area and the villages west of the city. We have had in-house clinics for Surgery, Psychology, E.N.T., Gynaecology, and Acupuncture. Dr Price is the Chair of the Professional committee of the West Hull PCT

We have been a training practice since 1975 and can offer a wide range of experience from within the partners and other members of the Primary Health Care Team. This includes sports medicine, minor surgery, child health surveillance and all the other activities associated with primary care, care of chronic diseases such as diabetes, asthma and ischaemic heart disease.

We have a full range of attached staff including Community Psychiatric Nurses, Psychologists, a well stocked library and meeting facilities.

All the partners are involved in training, with Dr Roper having overall responsibility. Registrars are particularly encouraged to be involved in setting their own educational needs and objectives and are fully involved in practice activities. Those intending to sit the MRCGP exam are especially supported in their endeavours.

The on-call commitment (which is not busy) is 13 sessions in 6 months with Dr Roper who works for the local out of hours service.
