We are one of the two Practices, both training, in this pleasant market town to the east of Hull. Our area extends into the country to give a rural Practice feel to the workload. List size is approximately 11,000.

We have a full range of attached Practice staff, and have access to several outreach clinics at the nearby Rosedale Unit, for the convenience of our patients. There is the option for Registrars to spend time with attached staff, to extend their learning opportunities.

We offer all the usual facilities of an NHS General Practice, including all the usual clinics, and Nurse Practitioner, several Practice Nurses and Health Care Assistants. We see the team developing to respond to the change in the G.P. Contract.

The Practice has now been training for four years and received favourable feedback from all former Registrars, two of whom has joined us as Partners. The Practice is keen and committed to training with all Partners taking a part in this.

On call experience, as for all the Hull scheme, is gained by attachments to the local out of hours provider, currently 1 session per month.
