As part of your introduction into General Practice we put on a 2 day residential course.

We aim to make the course as informal and enjoyable as possible. All your accommodation and catering costs are paid for and your practice will be expected to release you.

Some of the themes we look at are:

• Learning Styles
• The Modern NHS and General Practice
• How to look after yourself
• Communication Skills

But the main benefit is protected time to meet and work with other registrars and Course Organisers, not just from your own Hull and East Yorkshire Scheme, but also from York, Harrogate, Northallerton and Scarborough.
